Grand Prairie is a large, diverse city in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro, with roughly 200,000 residents and a footprint that spans parts of Dallas, Tarrant, and Ellis counties. That geography makes it one of the few cities in Texas that literally sits in three counties at once, and it means the eastern neighborhoods and the western neighborhoods can feel like different communities. The older east side neighborhoods - many built during the suburban expansion of the 1970s and 1980s - feature brick-veneer homes on modest lots, mature trees, and streets that have seen decades of clay-soil movement. The west side, particularly near the Epic development and the Lynn Creek Park area along the shores of Joe Pool Lake, has seen significant new construction since 2010, with larger homes and newer slabs that are now entering their first maintenance cycle. For outdoor activities, Joe Pool Lake and Lynn Creek Park are central gathering spots for Grand Prairie families.
Grand Prairie has a strong industrial and logistics employment base, anchored by major employers including Lockheed Martin, and a mix of distribution and manufacturing facilities that line the major corridors. That commercial activity means the city also has significant demand for commercial and industrial concrete flooring work alongside residential projects. The housing stock is predominantly single-family - brick-veneer homes on individual lots with attached two-car garages and fenced backyards are the standard from one end of the city to the other. We serve Grand Prairie alongside nearby communities throughout the region, including Arlington directly to the west and Kennedale to the south.
